The Edo State Public Procurement Agency on behalf of the State Government just concluded a series of training for SMEs to increase their participation in the State contract awards in order to ensure seamless rebuilding of a post Covid economy.
The participants cut across SMEs registered with the State Government as well as those intending to transact with the State Government.
These SMEs were trained on the use of the State’s Specific Standard Bidding Documents as well as the newly deployed guideline by the Agency on increasing SMEs’ participation in the State’s Contract Awards.
The Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Henry Imogiemhe Idogun reiterated the Government’s intention to ensure the SMEs’ are involved in the collective effort to rebuild a post Covid economy.
